About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced Cloud/Software Engineer with a strong background in operations (Ops) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining scalable cloud-based solutions while ensuring operational excellence. This role requires a blend of software engineering, cloud infrastructure management, and DevOps expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cloud Architecture & Deployment:
- Design and implement scalable, reliable, and secure cloud architectures (AWS, Azure, GCP, or others).
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, deployment, and scaling processes.
- Software Development:
- Build and maintain high-performance software solutions for cloud-based systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate software into existing infrastructure.
- DevOps & Automation:
- Establish CI/CD pipelines for streamlined software deployment and updates.
- Automate monitoring, logging, and alerting for cloud-based systems to ensure uptime and performance.
- Operations & Reliability:
- Optimize system performance, scalability, and reliability through advanced monitoring and analytics.
- Implement and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
- Security & Compliance:
- Ensure systems comply with industry standards and security best practices.
- Conduct regular security assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
- Team Collaboration & Mentorship:
- Work closely with software engineers, product managers, and stakeholders to meet project goals.
- Mentor junior team members and share knowledge of best practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Technical Expertise:
- Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., Python, Go, or similar).
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.).
- Strong understanding of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and microservices architecture.
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.).
